Deckception is a unique rouge-like deckbuilder featuring local co-op and endless gameplay. Team up with a friend to climb floors or go it alone, battling tough bosses, and unlocking powerful cards and dice. Adjust your deck to unleash powerful attacks, utilizing damage, magic, healing, and defensive cards. Change your strategy with different dice types, each offering unique effects to enhance your experience.
One player controls the cards using the keyboard. Their goal is to make the best poker hand possible. The better the hand the higher the multiplier that gets applied to the cards.
The other player controls the dice using only the mouse. Their goal is to play the best selection of dice in order to get the highest multiplier possible.
The multiplier from the dice gets applied to the different types of cards (attack, magic, healing, and block) in order to boost their effect. Without the dice, the cards would be useless on their own. This requires both players to work together and create the best attack or defense against the enemy.
After every floor you will have the chance to spend your hard-earned money in the shop, where you can buy powerful cards, dice, or upgrades. You will earn more and more money the further you go in the dungeon which allows you to get more powerful upgrades. More powerful upgrades also unlock the further you get in the dungeon.
